Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Hobbs, New Mexico. This contract position offers the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of inventory control processes and a proven ability to maintain accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. u2022 Conduct inspections of inventory and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards. u2022 Monitor and report on inventory levels to facilitate timely restocking and prevent shortages. u2022 Organize and manage the storage of materials to optimize space and improve accessibility. u2022 Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth material flow and yard organization. u2022 Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records. u2022 Assist in developing and implementing improved inventory tracking systems and processes. u2022 Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during inventory handling. u2022 Generate detailed inspection and inventory reports for internal and external stakeholders. u2022 Support customer service efforts by providing accurate inventory information to field personnel and engineers. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or materials management. u2022 Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and audit processes. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Experience in conducting inspections and preparing comprehensive reports. u2022 Knowledge of safety and quality assurance standards in industrial environments. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes. u2022 Previous experience in environments such as oil and gas, steel, or industrial materials is a plus. u2022 Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
