Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee complex financial projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead and manage M& A projects, ensuring smooth transitions and successful integration of acquired entities. u2022 Oversee the consolidation and reporting of balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Conduct comprehensive due diligence to assess risks and opportunities in potential acquisitions. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for mergers and acquisitions. u2022 Utilize Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports. u2022 Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure objectives are met. u2022 Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting during mergers. u2022 Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on project progress and outcomes. u2022 Identify and mitigate risks throughout the acquisition process. u2022 Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies during all phases of M& A projects. Requirements u2022 Proven experience managing Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) projects. u2022 Strong knowledge of ledger balance sheet accounts and consolidated balance sheets. u2022 Proficiency in Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments. u2022 Excellent organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams. u2022 Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements in the asset management industry. u2022 Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
