Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced Scrum Master (SM) to support a large SAP software implementation using Agile development teams. The successful candidate will support business analysis and SAP development efforts, resolve and escalate impediments, manage risks, help ensure value delivery, and drive programu2011level continuous improvement. The SM is accountable for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of value for the Agile teams. The ideal candidate should have an understanding of SAFe Agile and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to help transition from a traditional waterfall approach to a hybrid SAFe Agile practice. The candidate will work closely with program leads, functional and technical teams, and the government client to fully understand and develop the user stories that the Agile teams will execute. This position is located in one of CGI Federalu2019s offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities: u2022 Facilitate the coordinated preparation and execution of release planning for the Agile team. u2022 Work with the Agile team to prioritize the features to be considered in the next Program Increment (PI) planning cycle. u2022 Facilitate the Agile teamu2019s refinement of features to be considered in the next PI planning cycle to meet the Feature Definition of Ready. u2022 Assist the Agile team in communication and coordination with stakeholders and customers during feature definition and delivery. u2022 Participate in daily standu2011ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies. u2022 Facilitate effective communication and coordination during PI planning. u2022 Manage changes to the Agile teamu2019s PI plan and assess the impacts of those changes. u2022 Provide regular and open communication across the program and to stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments. u2022 Understand, visualize, and manage upstream and downstream dependencies. u2022 Drive delivery and continuous improvement by using feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity. u2022 Work with other teams to coordinate development and integration testing across multiple teams. u2022 Work with stakeholders and teams to drive continuous improvement. u2022 Participate with management and crossu2011functional teams as a subject matter expert to develop and improve operating policies and procedures related to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and advocate for the adoption of Agile and SAFe best practices and processes. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: u2022 Due to contract requirements, U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a CGI background check are required prior to starting work. Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. u2022 A minimum of 7 years of IT experience focusing on development projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban. u2022 Certified Scrum Master. u2022 Experience with SAFe methodologies. u2022 Experience with SAP implementations or Federal Government Financial Management systems (including an understanding of systems and processes). u2022 Ability to work with client business owners and end users to build wellu2011defined Agile stories, and to work with functional and technical staff to build clear acceptance criteria. u2022 Experience with Jira and Confluence. u2022 Strong analytical and problemu2011solving skills. u2022 Strong communication skills. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field. Desired qualifications: u2022 SAFe certification(s). u2022 Experience working as a Scrum Master in a federal environment. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
