In this position... + We are seeking an impact-driven Lead Financial Analyst to spearhead crucial financial strategy and support for our plant operations. This pivotal role is not just about numbers; it's about being a key architect of corporate financial planning, meticulously crafting and overseeing precise forecasts, dynamic budgets, and illuminating performance analyses. + You will be the visionary who transforms complex operational metrics into compelling, strategic financial insights, proactively identifying and championing initiatives that significantly enhance profitability and margin expansion. This position offers a unique platform to lead high-impact financial initiatives and directly shape the strategic direction of our advanced manufacturing operations. + As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will be a central figure in sculpting the financial landscape and strategic foresight of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. What you'll do... + Develop and maintain plant-level financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with operations and finance leadership. + Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. + Build and maintain financial models to support production costing, margin analysis, and scenario planning. + Provide timely variance analysis and explanations during monthly close processes. + Partner with operations to translate performance metrics into actionable financial insights. + Support annual budgeting processes and contribute to improved reporting tools and rhythms. + Assist with system transition activities by validating data and adapting financial models. + Identify and implement financial process improvements and cost savings opportunities. + Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to support plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. + Understand and effectively communicate financial variance drivers, including volume, mix, and program savings. + Ensure accurate financial reporting by liaising with the accounting team. You'll have... + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required. + Typically 3-5 years of finance or related experience, with a strong preference for experience in financial planning & analysis and/or the manufacturing industry. + Strong financial modeling and analytical skills are essential. + Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and the ability to manage large data sets. + Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software is highly desired. + Knowledge of manufacturing costing and inventory accounting principles. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders. + Strong strategic planning abilities and problem-solving skills. + Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and eagerness to develop skills. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and partner with various departments.
