Required Skills: 1.MINIMUM 1+ Year of Hardware Break/Fix Experience 2.Previous hands-on server maintenance support, including performing hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of physical components to ensure optimal system performance and uptime. 3.Must be able to work on your feet for 12 hour days in a data center environment 4.Education and Certifications are nice-to-haves but not a requirement Description: For this position you will be tasked with maintaining the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis with a solid understanding of computers servers network devices and command line diagnostics. You must possess: technical aptitude and the ability to communicate advanced technical information with a variety individuals of varying technical knowledge good situational awareness the capability to contribute to strong inter and intra-team development strong analytical skills demonstrated problem solving ability. Shift: Day and Nights Positions: Need to be open to any shift REQUIRED 12-hour shifts - 3 Days/4 Days alternating weeks schedule Front-Half Days- From Sunday through Tuesday or Wednesday Back-Half Days- From Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday Front half and Back Half nights as well Additional Skills & Qualifications 1. Dive Deep DCO techs must understand power paths, cabling standards, hardware layouts, environmental telemetry, and rootu2011cause behaviors. The job relies heavily on digging into racku2011level problems, cabling issues, power anomalies, and equipment behavior at a detailed level. 2. Bias for Action Data centers run 24/7 and SLAu2011driven. ISPu2011layer infrastructure issues such as power faults, cabling failures, thermal excursions, or alarms must be addressed quickly. Fast, decisive action prevents customer impact and keeps the facility stable. 3. Insist on the Highest Standards ISP physical layer work (cabling, labeling, patching, rack power installs, inspections) requires precision, cleanliness, accuracy, and compliance. High standards ensure reliability, safety, and audit readiness across the data hall. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boardman, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
