Job Title: Side Dump Driver - $30/hour Description: If youu2019re an experienced CDL driver looking for steady local work with great pay, this opportunity is for you A respected construction and hauling company is seeking Side Dump Drivers to safely transport rock, dirt, and concrete scrap between job sites. This position offers consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and the ability to be home daily while working with a safety-focused team. Responsibilities: u2022 Operate side dump trucks to transport rock, dirt, and concrete scrap to and from job sites. u2022 Safely drive to multiple job locations while following all traffic and site-specific regulations. u2022 Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections. u2022 Ensure loads are secured and transported safely and efficiently. u2022 Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards. u2022 Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel. Essential Skills: u2022 Current Class A CDL. u2022 Minimum 2+ years of Class A driving experience. u2022 At least 2+ years of experience operating side dump or straight dump trucks. u2022 Clean FMCSA report with no active violations or investigations. u2022 Air Brake Endorsement required. u2022 Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Additional Skills & Qualifications: u2022 Strong knowledge of DOT inspections and compliance requirements. u2022 Construction industry hauling experience preferred. u2022 Familiarity with heavy equipment and job site safety practices. u2022 Reliable, safety-conscious work ethic with strong attention to detail. Location / Work Environment: u2022 All work is local u2014 home daily. u2022 Mondayu2013Saturday schedule totaling 50u201355 hours per week. u2022 Typical hours are 7:00 AM u2013 5:00 PM, with occasional half days.
