Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minot, North Dakota. In this role, you will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations by handling daily invoice transactions, auditing reports, and ensuring data integrity. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting. Responsibilities: u2022 Verify daily invoice transactions across multiple sites to ensure accuracy and completeness. u2022 Audit daily financial reports to identify discrepancies and maintain compliance. u2022 Review and confirm the correct entry of financial data into accounting systems. u2022 Process invoices and ensure proper coding for accurate recordkeeping. u2022 Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently and accurately. u2022 Conduct financial audits to uphold data integrity and adherence to internal policies. u2022 Collaborate with team members to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes. u2022 Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for auditing and reporting purposes. u2022 Assist in streamlining data entry procedures to enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or accounts receivable. u2022 Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing with a high degree of accuracy. u2022 Strong attention to detail and ability to audit financial reports effectively. u2022 Familiarity with coding invoices and maintaining organized financial records. u2022 Knowledge of financial auditing practices to ensure compliance with standards. u2022 Degree in accounting or a related field is preferred but not required. u2022 Excellent organizational and time-management skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
