CTG is seeking to fill a Full Stack QA Engineer (Automation, APIs, Cloud) position for our client. Location: New York, NY Duration: 12 months Why Join This Role? + Work across modern full-stack systems (UI, APIs, backend, mobile) + Drive automation strategy and CI/CD quality integration + Contribute to scalable cloud-native applications (AWS, Kubernetes) + High-impact role with strong ownership and visibility Key Responsibilities: + Build and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers + Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing + Lead automation strategy and promote TDD/BDD practices + Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing + Validate cloud-based applications (AWS) and containerized environments (Kubernetes) + Conduct API testing and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security + Collaborate with engineering teams to improve code quality and testing coverage + Mentor team members and drive QA best practices Required Skills: + Strong QA and test automation experience + Node.js / backend testing experience + API testing (REST, Postman or similar tools) + Functional, regression, and performance testing + Automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, MochaJS) + CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps) + Kubernetes and container-based testing + AWS or other cloud platforms Qualifications: + 6+ years of QA experience across full-stack applications + Experience with automation frameworks and design patterns (POM, TDD, BDD) + Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum environments + Experience with microservices and distributed systems preferred + Bacheloru2019s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
