Senior Managers serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project and engagement management, team leadership and material interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels. While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Senior Manager can expect to spend considerable time on client-facing engagements through all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, and intensive data-analysis to implement impactful recommendations. Additionally, Senior Managers time will revolve around overall practice development, the mentorship of Coachees (when assigned), and general project/organizational administrative tasks. Required: u2022 Deep expertise in Workday Student Financials within higher education, including design, implementation, and optimization with a Tier 1 Professional Services firm u2022 Proven leadership in large-scale Workday transformations, with the ability to guide client and consulting cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive adoption across academic and administrative units. u2022 Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial systems and processes to institutional goals, improve reporting/analytics, and enable data-driven decision-making. u2022 Strong understanding of higher education student financial operations and related compliance requirements. u2022 Excellent client-facing, communication, and change management skills, including executive-level presentation, training, and post-implementation support. u2022 Current Workday Student and Student Financials certification u2022 Functional expertise in student financials systems, regulations and processes; understanding of higher ed student financials requirements across various types of institutions u2022 Demonstrated knowledge in academic structure, organizational assessment, and strategic planning. u2022 Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros) u2022 An MBA or other relevant advanced degree u2022 Expertise in the HR and/or Financials function, processes and best practices u2022 Experience as a functional application specialist u2022 Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration u2022 The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism u2022 The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions u2022 Excellent time-management and prioritization skills u2022 The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration u2022 Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams u2022 A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies The estimated base salary range for this job is $165,000 - $190,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huronu2019s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huronu2019s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $178,000 - $228,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huronu2019s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
