Oracle DBA u2013 Exadata Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future Key Responsibilities & Job Description Components: u00b7 Administration & Maintenance: Perform L3 support for Exadata Database Machine, including patching and upgrading storage servers (cell nodes), database nodes, OS, and IB switches. u00b7 Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize performance using AWR, ADDM, and CellCLI to address storage server bottlenecks. u00b7 Infrastructure Management: Configure and manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) and ASM (Automatic Storage Management). u00b7 Backup & Recovery: Implement backup strategies and manage Disaster Recovery solutions using Data Guard. u00b7 Migration & Provisioning: Assist in migrating existing workloads to Exadata Skills and Experience: u00b7 Core Exadata Expertise: Extensive experience with Exadata storage cells, Smart Flash Cache, and InfiniBand/RoCE networking. u00b7 Database Administration: Deep knowledge of Oracle Database (19c/23ai), RAC, and Grid Infrastructure. u00b7 OS Knowledge: Strong proficiency in Oracle Linux/Unix administration. u00b7 Cloud Skills: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Exadata Cloud Service is highly desirable. u00b7 Experience Level: Typically requires 6u201310+ years of DBA experience Salary and Other Compensation : The Salary for this position will be 79,000 to 92,500 early depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
