From your PASSION to ours Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisorbased in Buffalo, NY.Hours - Sunday - Thursday - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Summary:Perform Supervisory functions in the parameters set-forth by the parent company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Perform functions directly related to a manufacturing facility. 2. Perform shipping and receiving functions. 3. Perform operational computer transactions. 4. Reports to the warehouse manager for daily operations and job assignments in an efficient and professional manner. 5. Supervises the implementation of all S.O.P. procedures, GMP policies and Quality Control formats. 6. Supervises the selection and staffing of all production requisitions. 7. Ensure all employees are punched in for their shift start. 8. Ensure all employees are properly equipped with a uniform; helmet, safety glasses, hairnet, etc. 9. Ships and receives all manufactured goods and raw materials according to South Park S.O.P. policies. 10. Check the rotation and charging of driveru2019s batteries. 11. Processes all dispositional HOLDS with the forklift operator u2013 verifies quantities and properly identifies in relation to the disposition. 12. Ships and receives all loads assigned by the department manager. 13. Runs bills of lading and process product transfers on the AS400 when required. 14. Participates in monthly physical inventories as designated by the corporate staff, and performs cycle counts with the department manager. Requirements Qualifications: u2022 Experienced forklift knowledge/operator necessary. u2022 Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred. u2022 Strong communication abilities, written and verbal. u2022 Knowledge of computer software is necessary. u2022 Inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred. u2022 AS400 Prism knowledge, Word and Excel a plus. Education and/or Experience: u2022 High School Diploma. u2022 2-4 years of Supervisory experience. u2022 Valid Driveru2019s License required.
