In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees, while addressing discrepancies and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities: u2022 Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. u2022 Monitor budgets and establish employee pay rates to align with organizational financial goals. u2022 Identify and resolve discrepancies between payroll records and billing data to maintain accuracy. u2022 Collaborate with administrative staff, support brokers, and the controller to address payroll-related issues and optimize processes. u2022 Prepare and generate reports, correspondence, and documentation related to payroll activities. u2022 Analyze payroll data to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve operational efficiency. u2022 Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to manage payroll data and create reports. u2022 Ensure proper handling of garnishments, deductions, and other payroll adjustments as required. u2022 Maintain accurate records and ensure all payroll-related documentation is up to date. u2022 Address employee inquiries about payroll matters and provide timely resolutions. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in processing payroll for organizations with 101-500 employees. u2022 Strong knowledge of full-cycle payroll processes, including garnishments and deductions. u2022 Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. u2022 Ability to perform mathematical calculations, such as computing rates, ratios, and percentages, with accuracy. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and improve processes. u2022 Strong communication skills to write reports, correspond professionally, and effectively present information. u2022 Ability to interpret instructions and solve practical problems in a variety of formats. u2022 Familiarity with operating computers and other office equipment for payroll-related tasks.
