Position Description At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for anElectrical Engineering Internto join the Data Power and Control Team in Reno, NV. What Will You Do? + Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test electrical circuits, and power distribution products. + Perform research and development during the creation phase of a product. + Inspect products for flaws and identify areas of improvement. + Conduct tests and collect data using electronic test equipment. + Assist in product design, development, and production. + Build and test prototype circuits. + Prepare and conduct experiments. + Calculate or record results during experiments. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Associate of Science Degree with minimum 2 years of engineering experience (or equivalent experience). Current junior status working toward a bacheloru2019s degree in electrical engineering. Experience: Engineering Technician experience in a large volume production environment, preferred. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: + Ability to use electronic test equipment, such as, Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads, Meters, Function Generators, etc. + Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook. + Ability to work on live high-voltage circuits. + Strong attention to detail. + Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
