JOB REQUIREMENTS: HOURS: Monday Friday; 7:30am-4pm (Extended hours attimes is possible). As a maintenance associate youwill create and execute maintenance plans for equipment and machinery.You will also assist the facilities manager in projectplanning/execution and building maintenance. Here's what a typical daymight look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Otherduties may be assigned. Use company's software maintenance program when completedassigned work. Machine/equipment maintenance includes but is not limitedto performing preventative maintenance on: All printing presses Allprinting conveyor dryers All screen-making equipment All screen reclaimequipment Safely operate forklifts to move skids, barrels, and boxedinventory throughout the facility, including lifting, staging, andlowering pallets from storage locations. Coordinate with outsidecontractors. Perform general building maintenance indoors and outdoors,including painting, flooring, ceiling tiles, snow removal, and relatedtasks. Handle waste management by collecting garbage, cardboard, andrecyclables, and operating compactors as needed. Support workplaceoperations by setting up and tearing down meeting rooms, installingworkstations and partitions, and assisting with inter-office moves.Manage inventory of cleaning and paper supplies and assist withpreparing refreshments (coffee, popcorn, nachos, etc.) for associates.Participate in training classes and actively seek professionaldevelopment. Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.You might be a fit for this position if you are: Someone who cancommunicate effectively with others, be a team player, as well as workindependently. Required education/skills/experience: High schooldiploma or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is consideredhaving at least 1 year of longevity with a single employer, working in afull-time capacity. 1+ years of experience with preventativemaintenance. Forklift certification preferred. Previous maintenanceexperience preferred. Experience with the equipment listed abovepreferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. Basic mechanicalaptitude.
