JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Overview GPS Ed is seeking an organized,mission-driven Marketing Manager to execute strategic marketinginitiatives and keep our campaigns, projects, and brand moving forwardwith precision and purpose. In this role, you'll manage projects andbudgets, coordinate vendors and contractors, support content productionalongside our Marketing & Communications Specialist, and play a leadingrole in growing our national thought leadership presence. You'll be akey connectorworking across internal teams and external partners toensure GPS Ed's marketing efforts are aligned, on-brand, and deliveringresults. We're looking for someone who is part project manager, partbrand steward, and part operations pro.The ideal candidate thrives onbringing structure to creative work but isn't afraid to adaptstrategies as priorities evolve in order to achieve the organization'sbroader goals. This position is part of the Strategic Development TeamKey Responsibilities Manage and coordinate marketing projects fromplanning through execution, ensuring timelines, priorities, anddeliverables are met across multiple initiatives. Develop and overseethe marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources andaccurate tracking of expenditures to maximize ROI. Maintain and evolvethe brand identity in partnership with internal teams and externalstakeholders, supporting market research and analysis to identifyopportunities for growth and improved positioning. Collaborate acrossdepartments to align marketing efforts with organizational initiatives,ensuring cohesive messaging and branding in communications. Support theMarketing & Communications Specialist in producing and distributingcontent across GPS Ed's channels, including website, email, socialmedia, and publications. Effectively manage vendor and contractorrelationships (PR firms, videographers, ad agencies, printers, etc.) onbehalf of the department, including scoping work, coordinatingdeliverables, and overseeing quality. Monitor and report on marketingperformance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and informfuture strategy, providing regular updates to leadership. Support theexecution of organizational events, including taking a lead role incoordinating GPS Ed's national conference presence via sessionproposals, sponsorships, and/or exhibitions. Ensure the marketingdepartment effectively utilizes internal tools (CRM system, projectmanagement, AI platforms, etc.) to support data-based decision-makingand efficient marketing operations. Stay current with industry trendsand best practices, recommending adaptations to strategy as needed.Other duties as assigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Required Passion for transforming education and buildingequitable access to career opportunities. 5-7+ years of professionalexperience in marketing or communications, preferably in a nonprofit oreducation-related setting. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skillswith the ability to work across departments and build relationships withdiverse stakeholders. Strong project management skills with the abilityto meet multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectationssimultaneously. Experience with digital marketing channels and contentproduction workflows. Experience overseeing budgets, trackingexpenditures, and reporting on ROI. Experience with CRM platforms(HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Familiarity with project managementplatforms (Asana or similar). Familiarity with graphic design tools(Canva, Adobe, or similar). Comfort with AI tools to improve workflowsand support efficient marketing operations. Preferred Bachelor's degreein Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. Experience ineducation, workforce development, or youth-focused organizations.Experience coordinating event presence, conference sponsorships, orexhibitio logistics.
