This fast paced opportunity provides a broad depth of experience.Responsibilities and DutiesInteract with our policyholders and claimants through phone, text and email to gather and investigate claim facts.Evaluate coverage and estimate damage for our customers in order to settle claims fairly and in a timely manner.Manage the claim file and any involvement by Vendors, Experts and Independent Adjusters.Work with Personal and Commercial Lines Underwriting to identify any risk related issues.Maintain good relationships with agents, policyholders, and all company personnel.Trainees are required to get licensed. Qualifications and SkillsBachelors Degree preferredAbility to learn industry specific software applications applicable to performance of position responsibilitiesAttention to detailStrong organizational skillsAbility to communicate effectively in written correspondenceStarting Pay: The pay range for this position is $60,000 annually. The specific offer will vary based on an applicant's education, qualifications, professional experience, skills, abilities, and any applicable designations/certifications. The posted pay range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience. The pay range may also be adjusted based on an applicant's geographic location.The base pay is just one component of Donegal's total compensation package for employees. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
