Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management. Recommend, participate in, and support efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care. Accept patient referrals and serve as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician as needed based on patient, medical staff, and hospital needs. Participate in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested. Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner. Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including call schedules as required.What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration:Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred.
