Your work will directly affect:Customer approvalsAudit outcomesIn-house capability growthCost reduction from bringing processes internalSalary: Starting at $110,000+ annually, depending on experienceCompetitive benefits package including:401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid vacation, holidays, and personal timeJob DetailsKey Responsibilities:Support the development, implementation, and ongoing compliance of NADCAP Chemical Processing requirementsAssist with establishing and maintaining customer-specific certifications and approvalsCreate, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process control plansDefine and oversee quality procedures, inspection methods, and acceptance criteriaEnsure compliance with applicable industry and regulatory standards, including NADCAP, AS9100, OSHA, REACH, and RoHSActively support internal and external audits (NADCAP, AS9100, and customer audits)Assist with the setup and maintenance of job routers, travelers, and work ordersSupport the implementation and operation of manufacturing and quality software systemsDevelop chemical processing training requirements, schedules, and deliver hands-on training as neededCollaborate with Maintenance to develop and execute equipment maintenance and calibration schedulesEstablish, track, and analyze quality metrics to drive process stability and continuous improvementParticipate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiativesOperate within the existing Quality Management System (QMS)Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure proper chemical handling and PPE compliancePerform additional duties as required to support operationsPreferred Experience & Skills:Hands-on experience with NADCAP-accredited chemical processesWorking knowledge of environmental and chemical safety regulations, including chemical handling and waste managementExperience working safely with industrial chemicals in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with manual and automated titrations, pH monitoring, and process chemistry controlsStrong documentation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skillsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field preferred2-5+ years of experience in chemical process engineering or quality engineeringPrior experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferredSolid understanding of surface treatment processes, including anodizing, chemical film coatings, etching, and cleaningAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentWork Environment:Approximately 50% production floor / 50% office-basedIndoor manufacturing environment with intermittent moderate noiseOccasional travel to customer sites, suppliers, and training locationsPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs on an intermittent basisAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work at varying heightsManual dexterity for basic material handling and equipment interactionCapability to work safely around forklifts and industrial machineryMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)Interested in hearing more?
