The Greeter is responsible primarily for greeting guests & assisting with outlet volume.This is a seasonal hourly position for the duration of Frosty's holiday bar.Essential Duties/Tasks/ResponsibilitiesFoster a relationship with clients and providing outstanding servicesWelcome and greet customers for their patronage, ensuring completeness and consistency of hostess areaBeing available to attend calls, aiding serversSupervising host bookingsHandling clients amicablyCreating a guest and impressive first impression on guestsHandling all cases with utmost courtesy and professionalismMaintaining diplomacy while dealing with clientsTrains all new Host/Hostess to use our software and to take patient meal orders following dietary guidelinesCarries on by making separate large parties’ reservations from 1 person to 20 peopleHandles all types of situations from an intoxicated guest to what’s on our menuAssigns patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seatingSpeaks with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversationAnswers telephone calls and responds to inquiries or transfer callsMaintains contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers’ concerns are addressedAnswers, and log all of our departments incoming telephone calls while assuring all client requests are met quicklyGreet and encourage feedback from customers and used feedback to implement positive changes within the restaurant and GMConsistently provide professional, friendly and engaging serviceFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage o uphold proper health standardsSet dining tables according to type of event and service standardsRoutinely clean work areas, glassware and station during shiftAll other duties as assigned by leadershipMust be able to stand for long periods of timeA true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.Refined verbal communication skills.Must be able to work weekends & holidays as needed
