Heavy Civil Construction SuperintendentJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee and ensure the safety compliance of our construction crews, subcontractors, and the public. The successful candidate will adhere to company, contract, state, and federal safety standards while managing the supervision and coordination of all workers on projects.ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety compliance for crews, subcontractors, and the public according to relevant standards.Supervise and coordinate all workers on projects, including subcontractors and vendors.Develop and communicate project schedules to customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.Ensure quality control plans and company quality standards are met.Oversee the P&L on projects.Maintain and submit daily reports.Monitor daily progress of all tasks performed.Track and document all work daily, including subcontractor activities.Reconcile quantities and ensure accurate and timely payments for all work performed.Analyze daily job cost reports and weekly trend reports, recommending improvements in production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and crew performance.Place orders for materials, trucks, and equipment as needed.Request and submit purchase orders in advance for required purchases.Manage compliance with all contract requirements.Handle correspondence with customers, subcontractors, administrative staff, and managers.Maintain time and materials records necessary to complete daily job costing.Train new crew municate daily with the Project Manager and customers regarding project status, schedule, and payments.Participate in the estimating and bidding process.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Leominster, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $58.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
