Job Description

Supervises Slot Technicians on assigned shift including new Team Member training and continued education, assigning daily duties, observing work, measuring efficiency, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:Oversees the training of Slot TechniciansOversees the repair modifications and preventative maintenance on slot machinesPlans and administrates work schedules and assignments for Slot TechniciansAssists in investigating slot machine malfunctions, gaming disputes, machine audits, and sub-standard equipment within the Slot DepartmentAssists in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left on the floor by guestsMaintain knowledge of current slot machine PAR sheets, paytables and payoutsLeads by positive example - is consistent and ethical with decision makingAdheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies and encourages others to do the sameEnsure gaming devices and Team Member practices are within compliance of established policies and proceduresProvides positive and corrective feedback; completes Team Member evaluationsTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise including but not limited to monitors, buttons, card readers etc.Maintain inventory of all slot machine parts and equipmentOther duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:RequiredHigh school diploma or GEDMust have knowledge of the skills necessary for each Slot Technician positionsMust be able to get along with co-workers and work as a teamMust present a well-groomed appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member HandbookMust be motivated and able to meet deadlinesMust be able to work a flexible schedule which may include various shifts, weekends and holidaysA record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment Preferred1 year experience in a role requiring as a Lead or Supervisor (i.e. a role with explicit authority over projects or people)2 years previous experience in Slot Operations, Slot Performance, or other technical computer related fieldCollege degree or technical training in computers or electronics PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Physically mobile with reasonable accommodationsMust be able to bend, reach, kneel and grip itemsMust be able to push and lift weight of up to 100 poundsHave a sense of urgency and keep up with fast paced business practicesMust be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situationsMust be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to tolerate areas with secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust Indian Preference Exercised Prairie Band Casino & Resort reserves the right to make changes to the above job descriptions whenever necessary.
