Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Deliver therapeutic care to injured, ill, or disabled patients by utilizing everyday activities to help them develop, recover, improve, and maintain essential skills for daily living and working. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in both acute care and nursing home settings, focusing on improving patient outcomes through comprehensive occupational therapy services. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate and treat patients across acute care and nursing home environments, including outpatient evaluations and treatments. • Screen patients and actively participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care plans. • Document evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, insurance information, and discharge summaries accurately in patients’ medical records. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of patient care services. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: • Master of Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred. • National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy and active Wisconsin occupational therapy license. • Commitment to continuing education to maintain licensure. • Valid, current driver’s license. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. • Minimum of 1 year related occupational therapy experience. • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
