This role owns core month end close activities and supports operational accounting across payables, employee expenses, invoicing support, and reconciliations. The Senior Accountant helps ensure accurate financial data, strong internal controls, and audit ready documentation, partnering with teams across the business.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Prepare and post journal entries for month end close (accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and adjustments)Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances and reconciling itemsSupport accounts payable operations including invoice coding, matching, vendor maintenance, and payment preparationReconcile corporate card activity and employee expense reports; support timesheet and payroll posting alignment Support invoicing and accounts receivable reconciliation for commercial and government contractsMaintain audit ready support for transactions, reconciliations, and compliance needsHelp improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls as the company scalesRequired Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience with month end close ownershipExperience supporting audits or operating in a highly controlled environmentRequired Skills Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals and US GAAPStrong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and hit deadlinesProficient in Excel and comfortable in accounting systems and toolsStrong communication skills and ability to partner cross functionallyDesired Qualifications Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, hardware, orproject-based environmentsFamiliarity with government contracting concepts such as compliant documentation, cost segregation, and audit expectationsSalary: Electra's salary range for this position is: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00Our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum range for the Company level overall across all locations & projects and does not necessarily reflect the budgeted amount for this position.
