The RoleThe CAA Brand Consulting Senior Account Director will lead day-to-day account management for key brand consulting clients, with a focus on the strategic development, management, and execution of Olympic partnerships. This role will serve as the primary client interface, oversee and mentor junior team members, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, external vendors, agencies, and properties across the Olympic ecosystem. The Senior Account Director will also be responsible for identifying and advancing new ideas and opportunities for client consideration. Prior Olympic experience is required.Responsibilities: Develop and deliver overarching strategic vision based on brand objectives for the OlympicsLead coordination of key stakeholder engagement and involvement including clients, other agencies and Olympics rightsholdersNegotiate with Olympic rightsholders including OCOGs, NGBs, NOCs, talent and beyondLead overall activation and hospitality planning, pulling in specific functions, as neededDemonstrate creative and innovative thought leadership, keeping ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendationsCreation of key project documents such as budgets and briefingsOversee the team who will manage the day-to-day partnerships, ensuring continuity across properties and strategic, creative thinkingOversee the development of integrated marketing and sponsorship activation plans, showcasing how digital, social, PR, retail and other channels come to life, working with internal account team, client team and external agenciesWork with internal Data & Analytics Team to oversee the management of measurement evaluation and ideate around ways to expand measurementWork with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are metAct as a resource for the teams in trouble shooting and problem solvingLead, manage and inspire a team of direct and indirect team membersCreate presentations for key meetings internally and externallyDevelop and deliver compelling written and verbal communicationsBuild, maintain and play key role in driving year over year business and account growthQualifications:At least 10-12+ years’ experience including negotiating and managing Olympic partnershipsAbility to travel and be on-site at eventsExperience managing others including conducting performance reviewsStrong fiscal approach with excellent budget management and forecasting skillsMust have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with key stakeholdersProven strategic development andstakeholder management/influencing skillsStrong market and industry knowledge and presenceProven thought leaderAbility to balance and progress multiple projects and project components at one time, often within tight timelinesBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or similar discipline, preferredLocationThis role will be located in our New York or Los Angeles office. The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires a minimum three days per week pensationThe annual base salary for this position is in the range of $144,000 to $180,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
