Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Keller, Texas. In this role, you will manage essential financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring financial data integrity. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries in alignment with accounting standards. u2022 Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to support month-end and year-end closing activities. u2022 Analyze financial records and generate reports to assist management in decision-making. u2022 Monitor compliance with accounting regulations and company procedures. u2022 Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. u2022 Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. u2022 Proficiency in preparing journal entries and performing bank reconciliations. u2022 Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant regulations. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational abilities. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software and tools. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
