Job Title: Marine Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician capable of accurately reading, interpreting, and applying drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical trade mathematics and formulas to effectively calculate voltage, amperes, and resistance requirements, ensuring the correct sizing and types of materials are used. Responsibilities + Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements. + Calculate voltage, amperes, and resistance requirements using electrical trade mathematics and formulas. + Determine the appropriate size and type of materials such as controls, switches, distribution panels, fuses, cables, and conduit size. + Utilize electronic measuring devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. + Troubleshoot and install electrical systems, ensuring connector qualification and proper wiring. Essential Skills + Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. + Strong working knowledge of electrical trade mathematics and formulas. + Ability to calculate voltage, amperes, and resistance requirements. + Experience in selecting and determining material sizes and types for installations. + Skilled in using electronic measuring devices like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience as a Marine Electrician. + Connector qualification is a plus. + No specific certifications or medical clearances required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
