Mold Technicians Needed in Kalamazoo, MI + _$22.00-27.00 per hour_ + _2nd & 3rd shift availability_ + _Weekly Pay_ + _Competitive Benefits & Career Growth_ Job Description Seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Mold Technician to add to our growing team. The Mold Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of injection molds used in a highu2011volume manufacturing environment. This role supports production by ensuring molds operate safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while minimizing downtime and scrap. Responsibilities + Perform mold changes and mold setups, including installing, removing, and securing molds safely and efficiently. + Handle materials for the molding process, including loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed for production. + Troubleshoot basic molding and mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production. + Inspect machines, molds, and tooling to verify they are properly functioning, and report or assist with maintenance and repair needs. + Use overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely to move molds and related tooling. Essential Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years experience with injection molding processes and mold maintenance + Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tools, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Ability to read blueprints, mold drawings, and technical documentation + Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing or plastics environment + Effective troubleshooting skills and attention to detail + Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.90/hr.
