Overview The Summer Camp Admin Assistant is primarily responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of all compliance-related camp documents, Program and Meal attendance records, including Staff records, Camper Records, Voucher Co- Payments, Summer Food Service programs. Contact and confirm trip locations and schedules. Responsibilities The duties listed below are the primary duties of this position but are not all the duties that may be required. Specifically, the primary duties are: Administrationu2022 Promote and support the health and safety of all students and campers in compliance with State, County, and TSA regulationsu2022 Ensure compliance with all State of NJ, Camden County, Salvation Army, and Kroc Center Policies and Proceduresu2022 Ensure compliance with all safety and emergency procedures appropriate to the site and in conformity with procedures adopted by emergency service authorities to ensure the safety of the children and staff.u2022 Ensure accurate medical reporting according to New Jersey Department of Health and Office of Licensing regulations and standards.Miscellaneousu2022 Work in a team environment and encourage open communication regarding concerns/issues.u2022 Attend and participate in professional development activities as required and assignedu2022 Perform other duties as assigned and requested by Kroc Center Administration.u2022 Perform related duties as assigned Qualifications u2022 High School Degree or equivalentu2022 Must be +21 years oldu2022 At least 1 season of summer camp compliance experienceu2022 Possesses sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and the ability to work with diverse populations.u2022 Demonstrates good judgment, resourcefulness, flexibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving.u2022 Service-oriented team player who can take initiative, work independently, and quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment.u2022 High attention to detail, consistent reliable follow-through, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and meet established deadlines.u2022 Accurate and precise handling of qualitative and quantitative data.u2022 Must have excellent computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).u2022 Willing to obtain: TB test, physical, CARI, and CHRI checks; NJ Health & Safety Basics and Mandated Reporter training; First Aid & CPR for the Professional Rescueru2022 Must understand and support the mission of The Salvation Army.
