Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Framingham, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in various aspects of civil litigation, including trial preparation and discovery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in case management software and litigation procedures. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, including drafting and organizing legal documents. u2022 Conduct thorough research and compile information relevant to ongoing cases. u2022 Manage discovery processes, ensuring timely and accurate production of required materials. u2022 Prepare trial documents, exhibits, and case summaries for legal proceedings. u2022 Utilize case management software to maintain and update case files and records. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed. u2022 Monitor legal deadlines and ensure compliance with court requirements. u2022 Review and summarize legal documents to provide concise insights to attorneys. u2022 Support attorneys during trial by organizing materials and managing logistics. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a Paralegal with a focus on civil litigation. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation. u2022 Proficiency in using case management software and legal research tools. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills. u2022 Familiarity with court procedures and legal documentation. u2022 Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification is preferred.
