Job Description As a New Model Quality Engineer, you will be a key leader in ensuring the successful launch of new vehicle model. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive quality plans, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of quality are achieved throughout the APQP and new model development process. This is a customer facing role, where you will be the key contact point for customer quality team. Lead quality planning and assurance activities for new product and vehicle launches, ensuring compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory standards through all APQP phases. Drive new model launch execution, coordinating design reviews, prototype builds, pilot runs, and production rampu2011up to ensure quality readiness. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain control plans, SOPs, KPIs, and inspection processes to ensure consistent product quality preu2011 and postu2011launch. Provide technical quality leadership to manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers; oversee data analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Represent the organization in internal, customer, and supplier audits; complete and sign off on ISR, PPAP, and PSW requirements while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
