Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Awendaw, South Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering the opportunity to grow within the organization while contributing to key accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing financial transactions, processing data efficiently, and supporting the team with accuracy and professionalism. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. u2022 Enter and manage orders in QuickBooks with precision. u2022 Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments and collections. u2022 Maintain accurate records and organize financial data for reporting purposes. u2022 Provide support to the sales team by managing order entry and related tasks. u2022 Utilize Excel to analyze and manage data effectively. u2022 Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies as needed. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows and compliance with company policies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. u2022 Proficiency in using QuickBooks for order entry and financial management. u2022 Strong skills in data entry with a high level of accuracy. u2022 Familiarity with invoice processing and related financial tasks. u2022 Competence in Microsoft Excel, including basic data analysis and organization. u2022 Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. u2022 Strong communication and organizational skills. u2022 Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
