Job Title: Industrial Electrician Job Description Responsible for the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment and related instrument process controls to meet safety, production, quality, and environmental standards. Responsibilities + Install, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems and controls, including VFDs, switchgear (480VAC - 15KV), instrumentation, PLCs, 480VAC 3-phase motors, 4160VAC motors and soft starts, control valves and actuators, pneumatic systems, and lighting. + Operate and maintain low, medium, and high voltage motors, drives, switchgear, transformers, metering, and controls. + Participate in a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program and work with operations personnel to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. + Record work results and parts usage in a maintenance management system. + Troubleshoot and maintain electrical/instrumentation equipment, using PC for drawings and information related to equipment. + Read technical diagrams and schematics. + Perform electrical repair and troubleshooting up to 480VAC with 3-phase and single-phase systems. Essential Skills + Proficiency in industrial electrical troubleshooting and repair. + Experience with VFDs, high voltage systems, switchgear, and PLCs. + Ability to work with AC voltage ranges including 14.4kv, 208v, and 250vdc. + Experience in reading technical diagrams and schematics. + Experience with 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred 5 years of experience as a journeyman. + Reading, writing, and math skills comparable to a high school education. + Ability to cross-train in instrumentation. Work Environment Work in an industrial facility located in Henderson, operating in a sometimes dirty environment. Work coveralls are provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the first shift, with potential for overtime and callouts as required to support production.
