Job Description

Adecco is assisting a local client, recruiting for a Claims Reviewer position. This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity. As a Claims Reviewer, you will perform initial reviews of medical claims, including HCFA 1500 and UB-04 forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines u2013 Apply Now Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: + Perform initial review of all claim edits as directed + Complete or route claim reviews within established time parameters + Review each claim flag in sequence, ensuring full and accurate completion based on payment guidelines + Identify and report patterns of incorrect billing or utilization to management + Escalate unclear items or gaps in guidelines to management for clarification + Maintain a quality rating of 98% or higher + Process 15u201320 claims per hour + Participate in internal and/or external trainings as requested + Maintain a positive attitude and reliable attendance Basic Requirements: + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to follow written directions and work independently + Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding + Strong computer and typing skills Preferred Qualifications: + Previous claims processing experience + Experience in billing or a physician office setting Whatu2019s in this for you? + Competitive pay (based on experience) + Weekly pay u2013 receive a paycheck every week + Comprehensive benefits after 1 week u2013 medical, dental, vision, options available + Opportunity for temp-to-hire placement For more information, ask a recruiter today Click on u201cApply Nowu201d to be considered for this Claims Reviewer position Pay Details: $17.75 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
