Shift Pattern: Varied (Union role) AM availability required including weekdays, weekends and holidays; shifts will be dependent on business levels and seniority scheduling. Pay Rate Scale: $21.70 - $24.11 What will I be doing? A Restaurant Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, monitoring the restaurant and all staff, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction. Dona & Toniu2019s Host/Hostess will be responsible for answering guestsu2019 calls and taking food orders accurately and in a helpful, friendly and courteous manner. This position is also responsible for entering orders into a computerized system and settles checks. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: + Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.+ Read, maintain and make daily entries in the logbook to coordinate communication between shifts and management.+ Maintain proper set-up of dining room and enforce uniform and grooming standards of all service personnel on a daily basis.
