Accounting Clerk at Robert Half in Meridian, Idaho, United States Job Description Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/ AP Specialist to join our team in Meridian, Idaho. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and possess strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial records. Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. - Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to record and maintain financial data. - Perform data entry tasks to update accounting records with precision and efficiency. - Process invoices using established systems, maintaining compliance with company procedures. - Collaborate with teams to support automated payroll operations. - Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate documentation. - Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews. - Provide support for accounting functions in the restaurant industry, addressing specific operational needs. - Identify discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues proactively. - Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all tasks. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. - Demonstrated experience in data entry and invoice processing. - Familiarity with automated payroll systems and their functionalities. - Previous exposure to accounting practices in the restaurant industry is preferred. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. - Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
