Location of Employment: New York, NY Job Duties Prepare and review accounting records, statements, and reports relevant to the wholesale sector, including transactions involving import and export activities, such as recording duties, tariffs, and international shipping costs; Perform accounting-related analysis such as profit/loss analysis, return on investment (ROI), break-even analysis of the retail incentive schemes of the company; Analyze industry wholesale development patterns in order to ensure accuracy, completeness in financial reporting, as well as conformance with accounting standards; Formulate accounting-related analysis of the wholesale product value chain, evaluating and determining the best profit margins for the factory, distributor, and dealer at every level, including consideration of import/export costs and international shipping expenses where applicable; Analyze the balance sheet of the company in order to appraise the bad debt ratio of the company and submit accounting-related suggestions to the management for enhancing the risk control, e.g., by improving the credit policies, enhancing collections, and adopting stringent credit analysis; Perform an accounting cost study of the overseas versus domestic supplier advantages and disadvantages, based on price, cost structure, as well as the shipping and tariffs impact on the company operation.
