DescriptionAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for talented SDM who have a passion for Big Data and distributed systems at trillions of transactions scale to help build the next generation of AWS internal services. Our applications are responsible for processing 270 million events per second and 20 terabytes of data per hour. As a foundational system we scale with the growth of cloud computing at Amazon. We are responsible for generating Monthly Charges. These include but are not limited to enabling: AWS product pricing, AWS product subscriptions, AWS product discount programs, customer credit management, storing AWS product usage, computing the bill, the estimated bill, computing tax, and storing bills and line items for external customer consumption. As an SDM, you will be responsible for leading a two pizza team. Key job responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineering managers. Use data-driven insights to optimize team performance and drive continuous improvement. Risk Management: Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of AWS services. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
