As a Supervisory Immigration Services Assistant, you will provide technical and administrative support to subordinate staff to ensure compliance with USCIS procedures, policies and regulations. Responsibilities Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Field Office and are assigned based on the need of the agency. Supervise the day-to-day operations of a clerical support team in immigration records, adjudication, and mail operations for a USCIS field office. Provide administrative supervision of clerical functions supporting customer service, preparing file records, contracting services, preliminary processing of case files, and maintaining data information in a variety of immigration management systems. Provide facility management support for the mailroom by serving as an expert in mail operations. Monitor and adjust daily work of subordinates to meet uncontrolled priorities and requirements from the field office and with other neighboring DHS components.
