Position Summary: A carpenter is a skilled professional who constructs, installs, and repairs wooden structures and fixtures, working both on-site and in workshops.Core Duties and Responsibilities:u2022 Construction and Installation: Build Framework such as walls, floors, roof structures, doorframes, and staircases. Install doors, windows, cabinets, paneling, and other fixtures.u2022 Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements and calculate material needs.u2022 Material Preparation and Handling: Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, metal, plastics, fiberglass, or other materials.u2022 Repair and Maintenance: Inspect, repair, or replace damaged structures or wooden fixtures, ensuring safety and structural integrity.u2022 Collaboration: Work alongside contractors, electricians, plumbers, architects, and clients to ensure specifications are met.u2022 Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe worksite and adhere to health and safety regulations, using proper personal protective (PPE) and proper handling of tools.Skills and Qualifications:u2022 Technical Expertise: Proficiency with hand and power tools, measuring devices, and machinery.
