Description We are looking for a skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Herndon, Virginia. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organization's financial operations, including cash management, forecasting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: u2022 Monitor daily bank account balances and reconcile cash positions to ensure accurate tracking of funds. u2022 Process electronic fund transfers (EFTs), wire payments, and organizational transactions with precision. u2022 Assist in preparing and analyzing weekly or monthly cash flow forecasts to optimize financial planning. u2022 Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and verify bank fees for accuracy. u2022 Prepare detailed treasury reports and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. u2022 Support senior staff by gathering data and conducting analysis to inform decision-making. u2022 Utilize treasury management systems to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting. u2022 Identify trends and discrepancies in financial data, taking corrective measures as necessary. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in treasury operations or a similar financial role. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as modeling and formulas. u2022 Familiarity with treasury management systems, such as Kyriba, is highly desirable. u2022 Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, reconcile accounts, and support forecasting. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and documentation. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external banking partners. u2022 Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
