Manages day-to-day operations, including staffing and patient flow, under the direction of the Director. Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, payroll functions, documentation and performance evaluations. Assists at the bedside as needed while maintaining clinical competencies. Promotes a positive patient experience using best practices as outlined by the Chief Nursing Officer.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills• Must have the ability to develop outstanding rapport and work well with the physicians & staff• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to both large and small groups• Computer knowledge and skills, prior experience with an Electronic Health Record• Knowledge of regulatory standards (Joint Commission, OSHA, Specialty Standards) strongly [Preferred]• Demonstrates behaviors and attitudes that promote positive co-worker, customer, visitor, and physician relations• Models critical thinking skills and serves as a resource for employees• Demonstrates knowledge of regulations that guide nursing services by updating policies, practices, and procedures while ensuring compliance• Ability to demonstrate the organization's mission and values• Strong leadership, team development, and strong written and oral communication skills• Ability to use various software programs, including but not limited to specific health record systems and Microsoft?
