Construction Laborer - 3-Month Contract Staffmax is hiring hardworking Construction Laborers for a 3-month contract with our client in Chicago, IL. This is a hands-on role on active residential and commercial construction sites and is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable with physical work. Contract Length: 3 months Location: Chicago, IL Job Duties: Load, unload, and move construction materials on site Assist skilled trades with tools, equipment, and general site support Use basic hand tools and small equipment as required Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all job site safety rules and wear required PPE Support demolition, setup, and cleanup activities Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or hazards to supervisors Requirements: Previous construction or general labor experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Willingness to follow instructions and maintain a safe work environment This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work, being outdoors, and learning from experienced tradespeople.
