Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the procurement department supporting multiple business lines. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Buyer II Location: Spring, TX Pay Range: $47 What's the Job? + Process requisitions and convert them into purchase orders daily to meet operational needs. + Collect and evaluate written proposals from vendors as necessary. + Conduct straightforward negotiations on pricing and general terms and conditions. + Address invoice discrepancies related to purchase orders or goods receipt and approve invoice payments, including additional freight costs. + Coordinate with strategic buyers on project or turnaround purchases and potential bundling opportunities. What's Needed? + Proven experience in procurement, specifically in processing and managing purchase orders and invoices. + Strong understanding of procurement systems and processes, including PtP (Procure-to-Pay). + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams. + Ability to handle invoice discrepancies and perform rate verification accurately. + Experience in negotiating pricing and contractual terms with vendors.
