We’re hiring a Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy dermatology office in Buford, GA. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services and are committed to high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients in a professional and friendly mannerManage front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, and flow of the waiting roomAnswer and route incoming calls, take messages, and assist with patient inquiriesSchedule appointments and coordinate referralsEnter and update patient demographics, insurance, and chart information accurately in the systemVerify patient information, required forms, and signatures prior to visitsCollect copays, balances, and other patient paymentsAssist with basic billing and insurance questionsTrack patient flow and communicate delays or updates as neededMaintain organized and accurate patient charts and documentationProcess incoming faxes, reports, and interoffice communicationSupport inventory tracking and supply ordering as neededComplete end-of-day tasks including balancing payments and running reportsAssist clinical and administrative staff as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED (required)1-3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, medical office, or customer service role (preferred)Experience with patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, or phones is a plusPrevious experience in a medical office or dermatology setting is helpful but not requiredWhat We’re Looking ForStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced medical or customer-facing environmentComfortable handling phones, scheduling, and patient interactionsHigh attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and documentationTeam-oriented with a willingness to support both front desk and clinical staffPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods with occasional standing, bending, and reachingManual dexterity to operate a computer, keyboard, and office equipmentAbility to communicate effectively in person and by phoneAbility to lift and carry up to 30 poundsBenefits (Full-Time | 30+ hours/week)Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (effective the 1st of the month after hire)Company-paid Basic Life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability coverageVoluntary benefits including Life, Critical Illness, and Hospital IndemnityPaid time off (PTO) and paid holidaysRetirement savings planEmployee discounts on cosmetic services and skincare products
