Looking to bring on a SR AV specialist to support a customer in Carlsbad, CA. 100% onsite role. The Sr. AV Specialist is responsible for delivering whiteu2011glove audio/visual support for executiveu2011level stakeholders and ensuring seamless execution of highu2011visibility meetings and events. This role partners closely with Events, Communications, IT, and external AV vendors to design, operate, and continuously improve enterprise AV environments. The ideal candidate brings deep handsu2011on AV expertise, strong customer presence, and a consultative mindsetu2014balancing dayu2011tou2011day operational support with forwardu2011thinking innovation in AV technologies. Key Responsibilities Provide dedicated, highu2011touch AV support for executive briefings, leadership meetings, internal events, and special engagements Coordinate AV requirements with Events and Communications teams to support highu2011visibility meetings and live events Serve as the primary technical AV liaison with 3rdu2011party vendors, including estimating labor, scheduling equipment, and managing execution Perform setup, testing, and teardown of AV systems across large conference rooms, executive boardrooms, and event spaces Maintain and support audio/visual systems including conference room technology, PCs, guest devices, and interactive hallway displays Troubleshoot complex audio/video signal flow issues across networked AV environments Contribute to the design, planning, and implementation of scalable AV solutions supporting future business growth Analyze incidents and ticket trends to identify root causes and drive longu2011term, enterpriseu2011level AV improvements Build and maintain process documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for AV support Act as a escalation point for AV incidents, demonstrating calm, professional decisionu2011making in highu2011pressure environments Support flexible schedules covering building operations between 6:00 AM u2013 7:00 PM, with occasional evening/weekend and onu2011call coverage as needed Perform additional duties as required to support AV operations and events Skills audio visual support, Windows, Support, Troubleshooting, Customer service, Hardware, Technical support, Vendor Support Top Skills Details audio visual support,Windows,Support,Troubleshooting,Customer service,Hardware,Technical support Additional Skills & Qualifications u25cf Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position. u25cf Technical knowledge and proven experience of VC and AV industry brands. u25cf Knowledge and understanding of the Audio Visual and Video Collaboration industry u25cf Platform/brand experience: Zoom, MS Teams, Google, Extron, Crestron, Shure, AMX, Biamp u25cf Knowledge and understanding of IT industry environment and business needs u25cf Assertive with client satisfaction orientation u25cf Demonstrate good team leadership, motivation ability, and business acumen u25cf Advanced verbal and written communication, negotiation, and influencing skills u25cf Strong business acumen and a good understanding of general technology concepts u25cf Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships with both internal teams and external customer Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
