Summary This position is located at the James A. Haley Veterans Affairs (VA) Healthcare System. The incumbent works in the Mail Center section within Supply Chain Management Service, which is the central point for receiving, controlling, distributing and dispatching classified and unclassified mail originated by the Department of Veterans Affairs and other Federal Government Agencies. Responsibilities Duties Include (but not limited to): Ensures adherence to all applicable US Postal Service Laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to the duties assigned are followed. Serves as a storekeeper for the mail-room/reproduction storage supply; responsible for filling customer requests for stocked postal and reproduction supplies. Processes mail. Operates a computer for daily operations in the record search (directory mail) process. Gathers and records data for monthly and yearly reports used to formulate fiscal year budget requests as well as cost reimbursements. Replenishes meter mail equipment as required. Generates mail workload reports from the automated mail processing equipment and /or manually as required. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
