Are you living your life's work? Location: Plainsboro, NJ Hours: Sundays - Thursdays 7 am - 3:30 pm Proficiency in refrigeration is REQUIRED Responsibilities: + 1. Troubleshooting u2013 to evaluate any appropriate maintenance problem and take action or actions to correct said problem in an efficient and professional manner as it would apply to the HVAC/R trade. Mechanical u2013 apply knowledge of and demonstrate proficiency in all phases of Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. + Inspection and Preventive Maintenance u2013 includes filter cleaning/changing, lubrication, bearing checks, leak tests. + Diagnosis and troubleshooting u2013 includes schematic and blueprint reading/interpreting, control work. + Repair and Maintenance u2013 includes soldering, brazing, welding, electrical circuit repairs, repacking or replacing valves, replacing motors, replacement of refrigeration, insulation. + New Installation u2013 sizing estimating, installing, modification. + Operating u2013 including chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration and freezing units, air handling and heating units, and related controls, D.X. units, A/C units. + Record Keeping u2013 includes PM records, repair lists, parts, and service manuals, and catalogs. + Requisition and Maintenance of Parts and Supplies u2013 includes standard and hard to get parts and supplies. + 3. Job Coordination u2013 to apply knowledge of and demonstrate proficiency in coordinating a wide variety of job functions. + Scheduling activities with all appropriate departments and/or individuals. + Estimate time and material requirements. + Requisition materials and equipment. + Monitor and inspect work ensure compliance with plans, specifications and regulations. + 4. Emergency duties u2013 + Snow u2013 removal of all ice and snow from areas owned and operate by The Medical Center. + Fire u2013 respond and lend assistance to assure the safety of patients, visitors and the staff in the event of fire, including the proper use of fire extinguishers. + Natural Disasters u2013 lend aid and assistance in the event of any disaster, Participates in disaster plan. Credentials: + Driver's License (Required) Education or Equivalent Experience: + H.S. Diploma/GED (Required) + Education Specialization:Equivalent Experience:u2022Or four- (4) year apprenticeship.u2022Universal Certification for proper refrigerant practices.u2022And Eight (8) years HVAC/R experience or equivalent experience preferred.u2022Siemens Building Automation Experience preferred We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
