Job Summary and Qualifications As a Unit Secretary, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care every day. Your responsibilities will include: + Greeting and guiding patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, offering updates, and ensuring they feel informed and supported + Maintaining patient records accurately, entering physician orders, and protecting patient information + Handling all communications between incoming calls and care team members promptly and clearly to keep the unit connected + Keeping the environment clean, organized, and well-stocked to promote safety and comfort + Taking initiative to solve challenges, support daily operations, and foster a culture of respect and teamwork What qualifications you will need: + High School Diploma + American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification required upon hire + Public contact and clerical experience preferred + Excellent interpersonal skills and computer skills required + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions preferred + Knowledge of medical terminology preferred + Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Officeandmulti-line phonepreferred + MUST have weekend availability in addition to weekdays.
