Job Title: Warehouse Associate Job Description The Warehouse Associate supports day-to-day warehouse operations with a primary focus on shipping and receiving, while also assisting with production, equipment operation, inventory control, and quality processes as needed. This role is essential to maintaining efficient workflows, high product quality, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities while collaborating closely with both warehouse and production teams. Responsibilities + Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with customer orders and company standards. + Generate shipping documentation, including packing lists and bills of lading, and stage orders for carrier pickup. + Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying quantities and quality against accompanying documentation. + Report damages, discrepancies, or shortages promptly to warehouse leadership. + Accurately update inventory records in the warehouse management system and maintain data integrity. + Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks. + Store, relocate, and stage materials according to location standards, FIFO practices, and space optimization guidelines. + Pick orders accurately and verify order completeness and quality prior to shipment. + Operate production and finishing equipment, such as extruders, laminators, die presses, slitters, and printers, after receiving proper training. + Assist with scheduled equipment maintenance, safety inspections, and basic troubleshooting activities. + Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and all equipment safety protocols at all times. + Support sign shop and production teams with standard and custom product fulfillment as needed. + Assist with assembly of samples, promotional kits, and sales support materials. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in both warehouse and production spaces. Essential Skills + Previous shipping experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. + Proven ability to perform shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing, loading, and unloading orders. + Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 75 pounds occasionally. + Ability to stand for the entire shift and walk several miles during the workday. + Experience with order picking and verifying order accuracy. + Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment after appropriate training and authorization. + Ability to operate production equipment and basic machinery following training. + Computer aptitude to perform warehouse duties, including data entry and use of a warehouse management system. + Attention to detail when handling inventory, documentation, and quality checks. + Commitment to following safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out and equipment safety protocols. The schedule follows a daytime shift, for example 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, supporting a predictable routine.
