Senior UI Engineer - Electronic Trading / Fixed Income Liquidity Location New York Business Area Engineering and CTO Ref # 10050181 Description & Requirements Who we are: We are the engineering team behind the worldu2019s largest over-the-counter (OTC) electronic trading (ET) platform encompassing Fixed Income bonds, ETFs, Interest Rate Swaps (IRS), and Credit Default Swaps (CDS). We offer end-to-end trading workflows including price discovery, real-time analytics/pricing, execution, allocation, and straight-through processing (STP), all fully integrated with the Bloomberg Terminal and enterprise solutions. Our platforms have been at the heart of recent market structure changes, driven by trade automation, portfolio trading, ETFs and regulation. As a senior software engineer on Fixed Income Liquidity, youu2019ll join a full-stack, UI-focused engineering team thatu2019s reimagining how clients interact with Bloombergu2019s Electronic Trading products. Whatu2019s in it for you: + An opportunity to work on a complete tech stack to deliver client facing products + Using industry standard technologies to build high performance systems + Work in a highly collaborative environment where teamwork is the key to success + An opportunity to learn how the financial markets operate by working closely with product managers and clients You'll need to have: + 5+ years of experience working on the front end building intuitive UIs with TypeScript/Javascript. + A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience + Ability to work in a fast paced environment using agile methodologies + An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, as well as CI, CD and unit testing + A strong sense of ownership and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive projects and initiatives. + An open mind to new technologies and practices Weu2019d Love to See: + Experience building user-facing trading or financial applications + Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks + Experience contributing to shared platforms, component libraries, or workflow-driven systems + Good understanding of Test Driven Development + Experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders and evolving requirements + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail If this sounds like you: Apply if you think we're a good match We'll get in touch with you to let you know what the next steps are. Salary Range = 160000 - 240000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
